About Us

Shri Mahaveer Higher Secondary School was established in 1973 by Smt. Chandmal Mainabai Trust.It is  the fastest growing school in this area.It is  co-educational school.It offers classes from nursery to Higher Secondary level,providing a blend of academics,sports,cultural and artistic activities in a high quality environment.The school is situated in natural environment outside the town,comprises a spacious building with modern facilities.These include state of the art classrooms,laboratories , library, audio-visual room , art studio,  playgrounds for sports and recreation which contribute to give our students  modern education with lifelong benefits.


The beautiful building of Shri Mahaveer Higher Secondry school,Alote Distt Ratlam (M.P.) attracts towards every one. Hi-Tech Infrastructure, Peaceful Study Environment, Approachable location of the town, well maintained Play Grounds, well equipped Labs, Activity Rooms, Library, Comfortable Furniture, Well Ventilated Class Rooms, Transport Facility  are a few of the visitors attractions.

Shri Mahaveer Vidyalaya  has since its establishment in 1973, pursued with vigour and innovative spirit, its avowed objective of promoting all around excellence in education for tomorrow's citizens. 

In a short span of time Shri Mahaveer Higher Secondary School  Alote has eatablished its unique identity in the area. It was established by Shri Kundanmal Jain who is known as " Dasab".The life of Dasab was very much influenced by Mahatma Gandhi and Jainism.
The School was established to serve the students of Alote who are unable to go for higher education outside the town.
 
Our foray in school education is in keeping with Society's motto - We do not build castles in the air, we build temples of learning.

Our emblem is derived from a star. Our star child symbolizes the shining splendour in every child . The book and paint brush indicates knowledge and art . The football symbolizes sports, an essential part of education.The torch depicts the purpose of education of dispersing light to the world to seek the truth and enlightment.The wreath on the forehead represents winning achievements. The left foot forward indicates intense desire and determination to stride ahead. In short, our emblem stands forCare, Capacity and Capability.

With the advancement of communication facilities and multimedia the world has become a global village, and education has become an international enterprise. Hence the responsibility lies on the shoulders of educators and educationist to prepare the global citizens who are rational in thoughts, believe in multiculturalism and can take any future challenges. Apart from this , education has prime responsibility of making the citizens who care for Mother Earth too. To impart such education we need school which can promote the children to attain perfection in studies, promote international brotherhood and peace. Gurukul is such one of the schools which lays stress on all round development of child and prepares him to face challenges of future. The school with its infrastructure, well qualified, experienced faculty committed to keep promises, made its mark within short span of time. I believe that each child has an immense potential and we just need to identify and develop it. The very concept of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) assumes that each child is talented and is capable of learning , the school has just to provide a wide variety of opportunities in both the Scholastic and Co-scholastic areas to unveil the potential of every child and develop it into blooming flower. Gurukul is striving to attain the same noble goal. Apart from quality education Gurukul provides equal opportunities for co-curricular activities as well. The teachers at Gurukul are committed and dedicated to their profession and I am sure that the team efforts will certainly attain new heights of excellence in the field of education.
